Abstract
A hair styling apparatus for styling hair of a user comprises a tubular base member, elastic loop elements, and gripping members. The tubular base member comprises a first end and a second end, receives, and rolls hair of a user. The elastic loop elements are fixedly attached to the first end and the second end of the tubular base member. The gripping members are fixedly attached to each of the elastic loop elements for overlapping the elastic loop elements over the tubular base member. The elastic loop elements securely fasten the hair of the user to the tubular base member for styling the hair of the user. Further, the hair styling apparatus kit comprises an elongate curling wand device with clip designed for supplying added definition to the hair.
Claims10
A hair styling apparatus for styling the hair of a user, comprising:
- a tubular base member having a first end opposite a second end, wherein the tubular base member is configured to receive and roll hair of a user about an exterior surface thereof;
- a pair of elastic loop elements, wherein each of the elastic loop elements is affixed to one of the first end and the second end, respectively;
- wherein each of the pair of elastic loop elements are configured to extend across a length of the tubular base member, thereby securing the hair of the user to the exterior surface;
- wherein a distal end of each of the pair of elastic loop members is configured to engage an opposite end of the tubular base member such that each of the pair of elastic loop members is retained via elastic force;
- and
- a gripping member affixed to each of the pair of elastic loop members, wherein the gripping member comprises a thickness less than that of the pair of elastic loop members.
A method of using a hair styling apparatus, comprising:
- wrapping hair of a user around an exterior surface of a tubular base member;
- grasping a gripping member extending from an elastic loop member affixed to each of a first end of the tubular base member and a second end of the tubular base member;
- stretching each elastic loop member across a length of the tubular base member, such that the hair is positioned between the exterior surface and the elastic loop member;
- engaging the elastic loop member with an opposite end of the tubular base member, such that the elastic loop member is retained thereagainst via elastic force.
