Abstract
Compositions attractive to mice include one or more long-range volatiles and one or more short-range volatiles. The long-range volatiles can include butyric acid, 2-methylbutyric acid, and 4-heptanone. Devices and methods of using the compositions are also disclosed.
Claims24
A composition for attracting a mouse comprising:
- one or more long-range volatiles comprising butyric acid, 2-methylbutyric acid, 4-heptanone, and 3-methylbutyric acid;
- and
- one or more short-range volatiles;
- and
- wherein the one or more long-range volatiles are isolated, synthetic, or purified.
