Abstract
New lettuce varieties designated ‘Jara’, ‘Zapata’, and ‘Cameros’ are described. ‘Jara’, ‘Zapata’, and ‘Cameros’ are lettuce varieties exhibiting stability and uniformity.

Lettuce seed selected from the group consisting of lettuce seed designated as ‘Jara’, representative sample of seed having been deposited under NCIMB Accession Number X5;
- lettuce seed designated as ‘Zapata’, representative sample of seed having been deposited under NCIMB Accession Number X7;
- and lettuce seed designated as ‘Cameros’, representative sample of seed having been deposited under NCIMB Accession Number X8.
A method of making a lettuce variety selected from the group consisting of ‘Jara’, ‘Zapata’, and ‘Cameros’, said method comprising:
- selecting seeds from the cross of one ‘Jara’ plant with another ‘Jara’ plant, a sample of ‘Jara’ lettuce seed having been deposited under NCIMB Accession Number X5;
- selecting seeds from the cross of one ‘Zapata’ plant with another ‘Zapata’ plant, a sample of ‘Zapata’ lettuce seed having been deposited under NCIMB Accession Number X7;
- or
- selecting seeds from the cross of one ‘Cameros’ plant with another ‘Cameros’ plant, a sample of ‘Cameros’ lettuce seed having been deposited under NCIMB Accession Number X8.
