## Abstract

An example system to obscure personally identifiable information of a user of an electronic device is disclosed. The example system includes a first processor to select a set of instructions from a plurality of sets of instructions. The first processor also is to transmit the set of instructions to a second processor, the second processor disposed in an electronic device, the electronic device remote from the first processor, the set of instructions to cause the second processor to obtain non-personally identifiable data from the personally identifiable information gathered by the electronic device. The example system also includes a remote data reader to read the non-personally identifiable data from the electronic device.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A system to obscure personally identifiable information of a user of an electronic device, the system comprising:
a first processor to:
select a set of instructions from a plurality of sets of instructions;
transmit the set of instructions to a second processor, the second processor disposed in an electronic device, the electronic device remote from the first processor, the set of instructions to cause the second processor to obtain non-personally identifiable data from the personally identifiable information gathered by the electronic device; and
a remote data reader to read the non-personally identifiable data from the electronic device.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the first processor is to confirm an identity of the system with the second processor via a trusted execution environment.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The system of claim 2, wherein the first processor is to add a signature to the set of instructions.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, further including an editor to create the set of instructions.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

The system of claim 4, wherein the editor is to specify a type of personally identifiable data used to obtain the non-personally identifiable data.

### Claim 6 (depends on 4)

The system of claim 4, wherein the editor is to specify a type of electronic device to receive the set of instructions.

### Claim 7 (depends on 4)

The system of claim 4, wherein the editor is to specify a type of sensor used to gather the personally identifiable data.

### Claim 8 (depends on 4)

The system of claim 4, wherein the editor is to limit a range of non-personally identifiable data that can be read by the remote data reader.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the remote data reader is to map the non-personally identifiable data to the set of instructions.

### Claim 10 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the set of instructions causes the second processor to perform a verification that the non-personally identifiable data excludes the personally identifiable data.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The system of claim 10, wherein the set of instructions enables the remote data reader to read the non-personally identifiable data based on the verification.

### Claim 12 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the electronic device is wearable.

### Claim 13

A machine readable storage device comprising instructions, which when executed, cause one or more processors to:
select a procedure from a plurality of procedures;
transmit the procedure to an electronic device, the electronic device remote from the one or more processors, the procedure to cause the electronic device to obtain non-personally identifiable data from the personally identifiable information gathered by the electronic device; and
read the non-personally identifiable data from the electronic device.

### Claim 14 (depends on 13)

The machine readable storage device of claim 13, wherein the instructions further case the one or more processors to:
add a signature to the procedure; and
perform an authentication based on the signature in a trusted execution environment.

### Claim 15 (depends on 13)

The machine readable storage device of claim 13, wherein the instructions further cause the one or more processors to create the procedure by specifying a type of personally identifiable data used to obtain the non-personally identifiable data.

### Claim 16 (depends on 13)

The machine readable storage device of claim 13, wherein the instructions further cause the one or more processors to create the procedure by specifying a type of electronic device to receive the procedure.

### Claim 17 (depends on 13)

The machine readable storage device of claim 13, wherein the instructions further cause the one or more processors to create the procedure by specifying a type of sensor used to gather the personally identifiable data.

### Claim 18 (depends on 13)

The machine readable storage device of claim 13, wherein the instructions further cause the one or more processors to create the procedure by limiting a range of non-personally identifiable data that can be read by the remote data reader.

### Claim 19 (depends on 13)

The machine readable storage device of claim 13, wherein the instructions further cause the one or more processors to map the non-personally identifiable data to the procedure.

### Claim 20 (depends on 13)

The machine readable storage device of claim 13, wherein the procedure causes the electronic device to perform a verification that the non-personally identifiable data excludes the personally identifiable data, and the procedure enables the one or more processors to read the non-personally identifiable data based on the verification.
