## Abstract

A computer-implemented method for secure multi-datasource query job status notification that may include automatically accessing notification characteristics for a query job status. Occurrence of the query job status may be automatically determined, and an initial version of a notification at least in part based on the notification characteristics may be automatically generated. A present security level may be automatically determined by analyzing at least one of end user activity and an aspect of an end user computing device. A final version of the notification may be automatically generated at least in party by redacting the initial version based on the present security level. Transmission of the final version of the notification to the end user computing device may be automatically instructed.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A computer-implemented method for secure multi-datasource query job status notification comprising, via one or more transceivers and/or processors:
automatically accessing notification characteristics for a query job status;
automatically determining occurrence of the query job status;
automatically generating an initial version of a notification at least in part based on the notification characteristics;
automatically determining a present security level by analyzing at least one of end user activity and an aspect of an end user computing device;
automatically generating a final version of the notification at least in part by redacting the initial version based on the present security level; and
automatically directing transmission of the final version of the notification to the end user computing device.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein the determined query job status reflects completion of a query propagated across a plurality of datasources.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein redacting the initial version includes recognizing an unconditional redaction marker referencing a text field of the initial version and redacting one or more characters populating the text field.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein redacting the initial version includes recognizing a redaction marker conditioned on the present security level, determining that the present security level does not satisfy a condition of the redaction marker, and redacting one or more characters populating a text field referenced by the redaction marker.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The computer-implemented method of claim 1, further comprising automatically scanning the initial version of the notification using a pattern matching algorithm, identifying a text field containing sensitive data, and applying a marker to the text field corresponding to the identification by the pattern matching algorithm.

### Claim 6 (depends on 5)

The computer-implemented method of claim 5, wherein the pattern matching algorithm is specified by an initial marker applied by the end user.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The computer-implemented method of claim 1, wherein generation of the finalized version of the notification includes scanning portions of the initial version for sensitive information, the scanned portions not including a text field referenced by a marker applied by the end user.

### Claim 8

A system for secure multi-datasource query job status notification, the secure notification system comprising one or more processors individually or collectively programmed to:
automatically access notification characteristics for a query job status;
automatically determine occurrence of the query job status;
automatically generate an initial version of a notification at least in part based on the notification characteristics;
automatically determine a present security level by analyzing at least one of end user activity and an aspect of an end user computing device;
automatically generate a final version of the notification at least in part by redacting the initial version based on the present security level; and
automatically direct transmission of the final version of the notification to the end user computing device.

### Claim 9 (depends on 8)

The secure notification system of claim 8, wherein the determined query job status reflects completion of a query propagated across a plurality of datasources.

### Claim 10 (depends on 8)

The secure notification system of claim 8, wherein redacting the initial version includes recognizing an unconditional redaction marker referencing a text field of the initial version and redacting one or more characters populating the text field.

### Claim 11 (depends on 8)

The secure notification system of claim 8, wherein redacting the initial version includes recognizing a redaction marker conditioned on the present security level, determining that the present security level does not satisfy a condition of the redaction marker, and redacting one or more characters populating a text field referenced by the redaction marker.

### Claim 12 (depends on 8)

The secure notification system of claim 8, wherein the one or more processors are further individually or collectively programmed to automatically scan the initial version of the notification using a pattern matching algorithm, identify a text field containing sensitive data, and apply a marker to the text field corresponding to the identification by the pattern matching algorithm.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

The secure notification system of claim 12, wherein the pattern matching algorithm is specified by an initial marker applied by the end user.

### Claim 14 (depends on 13)

The secure notification system of claim 13, wherein generation of the finalized version of the notification includes scanning portions of the initial version for sensitive information, the scanned portions not including a text field referenced by a marker applied by the end user.

### Claim 15

A non-transitory computer-readable storage media having computer-executable instructions for secure multi-datasource query job status notification stored thereon, wherein when executed by at least one processor the computer-executable instructions cause the at least one processor to:
automatically access notification characteristics for a query job status;
automatically determine occurrence of the query job status;
automatically generate an initial version of a notification at least in part based on the notification characteristics;
automatically determine a present security level by analyzing at least one of end user activity and an aspect of an end user computing device;
automatically generate a final version of the notification at least in part by redacting the initial version based on the present security level; and
automatically direct transmission of the final version of the notification to the end user computing device.

### Claim 16 (depends on 15)

The non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 15, wherein redacting the initial version includes recognizing an unconditional redaction marker referencing a text field of the initial version and redacting one or more characters populating the text field.
