## Abstract

The invention relates to a system having a dosing dispenser for dispensing pasty or viscous material with a housing, a cartridge displaceably accommodated therein and a walking piston accommodated in the cartridge that forms a unit ready for assembly with a shutter button to be arranged at a cartridge end.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A system having a dosing dispenser for dispensing of pasty or viscous material, such as cosmetic creams, adhesives and the like, with an elongated, pin-like housing, a cartridge longitudinally displaceably accommodated therein for material accommodation, an applicator disposed at one end of the housing for material discharge, a pump unit disposed between the cartridge and the applicator, an actuator disposed at the housing particularly in the shape of a slide laterally disposed at the housing or of a push button disposed at the end of the housing, by which the cartridge can be displaced against the pump unit for the purpose of executing a pump stroke, with a shutter button closing the housing end opposite the applicator, and with a piston insertable into the cartridge, wherein the piston abuts with its front face at the end opposite the pump unit of the material column accommodated in the cartridge and lags the column end, wherein:
the shutter button and the piston are formed as a pre-assembled assembly unit for the introduction of the piston into the cartridge, in which the piston is displaceably guided against or with respect to the shutter button and axially projects in an insertion position into the cartridge from the shutter button, such that from abutment and stop of the piston at the material column during insertion of the assembly unit in the cartridge the shutter button is pushed further onto the piston up to its rest position at the cartridge, in which a locking ball disposed between the front face of the piston and the shutter button sits in sealing position.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The system according to claim 1, wherein the shutter button has a central punch that dips in pre-assembled position in a piston sleeve of the piston directed away from the end side and at the free end hereof the locking ball sits, where the friction fit between piston and inner wall of the cartridge is smaller than the friction fit between piston sleeve and punch of the shutter button.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The system according to claim 1, wherein the piston sleeve has for the dipping position of the punch into the piston sleeve a sealing portion for the locking ball in the portion of the sleeve facing away from the shutter button, in which the locking ball blocks material passage from the cartridge but also blocks air passage.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

The system according to claim 3, characterized in that the sealing portion of the piston sleeve is formed from a first longitudinal portion of the piston sleeve with reduced sleeve diameter, at which a second longitudinal portion with larger diameter portion connects to the side of the shutter button.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The system according to claim 1, wherein a third longitudinal portion is provided at the end side in the piston sleeve that has the narrowest diameter of the piston sleeve in the ratio of friction force RK in Newton to the effective piston area in cm2 in the range of 1 to 5.

### Claim 6 (depends on 3)

The system according to claim 3, wherein the interior diameter of the cylindrical piston sleeve has an undersize in the first longitudinal portion, in particular of 0.05 mm to 0.2 mm, compared to the diameter of the locking ball, and an oversize, in particular of 0.03 mm to 0.1 mm in the second longitudinal portion.

### Claim 7 (depends on 3)

The system according to claim 3, wherein a conical transition region the inner wall of the piston sleeve between both longitudinal portions channels are formed in particular by recesses across den inner wall periphery for an air passage.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The system according to claim 1, wherein the piston sleeve has a cylindrical cross-section and the punch has at its end portion facing away from the shutter button a profile cross-section with radial webs, forming between them passage channels, in particular a cross-shaped profile cross-section.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The system according to claim 1, wherein the piston has a cap-shaped piston head within which the end of the piston sleeve far from the shutter button is arranged, and that the cap has a central opening for the air passage to the piston sleeve, wherein the cap overlaps the piston sleeve across a partial section.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The system according to claim 9, wherein the central opening in the cap-shaped piston head is bridged by webs, in particular by two cross-like arranged webs.

### Claim 11 (depends on 9)

The system according to claim 9, wherein the piston head is rounded at its peripheral edge and is formed in this area with radial slots for an air passage to the piston sleeve.

### Claim 12 (depends on 9)

The system according to claim 9, wherein the cap-shaped piston head has at its edge facing the shutter button a radially outer set circumferential sealing lip.

### Claim 13 (depends on 1)

The system according to claim 1, wherein the punch of the shutter button has at its free end a longitudinal portion with reduced diameter.

### Claim 14 (depends on 1)

The system according to claim 1, wherein the free end of the punch has a spherical cap-shaped indentation.

### Claim 15 (depends on 1)

The system according to claim 1, wherein the locking ball is made of stiffer material than the material of the piston sleeve, in particular from metal, glass, or hard rubber.

### Claim 16 (depends on 1)

A pre-assembled assembly unit for the use in a system or a dosing dispenser according to claim 1, wherein the assembly unit is formed from a shutter button with a punch dipping into a piston sleeve of a piston, where a locking ball is arranged between punch and piston within the piston sleeve.
