Abstract
A sealing structure for a vacuum pressure chamber is disclosed. In one embodiment, an annular ring sealing structure seats between opposing gaskets. The annular ring sealing structure is then disposed between the lid and vessel of the vacuum pressure chamber wherein the lid is operationally coupled to the vessel of the vacuum pressure chamber. Various components interconnect with the annular ring sealing structure thereby preventing the high cyclic failure of the vacuum chamber vessel.
Claims3
A sealing mechanism to be used in combination with a chamber and lid, the sealing mechanism comprising:
- the chamber and the lid having a complementary configuration without any ports thereon;
- an annular ring having a complementary configuration to the chamber and the lid and seated therebetween;
- and
- at least flange port formed within the annular ring for fluid communications with accessory components.
A bottom gasket seated between the lid and a top face of the annular ring;
A bottom gasket seated between a top opening of the container and a bottom face of the annular ring.
