Abstract
A process for making a liquid treatment composition wherein the process includes a step of passing the liquid treatment composition via a Rheology sensor.
Claims18
A process for making a liquid treatment composition comprising the steps of:
- a. mixing two or more ingredients together in a first mixing operation to create a liquid treatment composition;
- b. flowing the liquid treatment composition through a pipe, via a rheology sensor, wherein the rheology sensor periodically measures the liquid treatment composition and electronically transmits the data to a suitable electronic medium;
- c. interpreting the data to determine the rheology profile of the liquid treatment composition;
- d. comparing the rheology profile of the liquid treatment composition to pre-determined acceptable rheology profile ranges;
- e. if the rheology profile is outside of the acceptable rheology profile ranges, adjusting one or more characteristics of the first mixing operation in order to bring the rheology profile of the liquid treatment composition back into acceptable ranges;
- f. flowing the liquid treatment composition to where optionally one or more further process steps occur;
- and
- g. collecting the liquid treatment composition.
