Abstract
Provided is a base station, comprising: a configuration unit, configured to configure a transmission waveform of a User Equipment (UE) for uplink transmission; and a transmission unit, configured to transmit information related to the configuration to the UE. The configuration unit is configured by using any of the following modes: physical layer signaling, a Random Access Response (RAR) message of Media Access Control (MAC), and Radio Resource Control (RRC) signaling. The present application also provides a user equipment (UE) and a corresponding method.

A user equipment (UE) comprising:
- reception circuitry configured to receive information for determining whether a specific transmission waveform configuration applied to Msg 3 PUSCH transmission is a first transmission waveform configuration or a second transmission waveform configuration;
- and
- determination circuitry configured to determine, based on the information, whether the specific transmission waveform configuration is the first transmission waveform configuration or the second transmission waveform configuration.
A method performed by a user equipment (UE), the method comprising:
- receiving information for determining whether a specific transmission waveform configuration applied to Msg 3 PUSCH transmission is a first transmission waveform configuration or a second transmission waveform configuration;
- and
- determining, based on the information, whether the specific transmission waveform configuration is the first transmission waveform configuration or the second transmission waveform configuration.
A base station comprising:
- generation circuitry configured to generate information for indicating to a user equipment (UE) whether a specific transmission waveform configuration applied to Msg 3 PUSCH transmission is a first transmission waveform configuration or a second transmission waveform configuration;
- and
- transmission circuitry configured to transmit the information to the UE.
A method performed by a base station comprising:
- generating information for indicating to a user equipment (UE) whether a specific transmission waveform configuration applied to Msg 3 PUSCH transmission is a first transmission waveform configuration or a second transmission waveform configuration;
- and
- transmitting the information to the UE.
