Binaural recording device with directional enhancement

Abstract

Apparatuses, methods and storage medium associated with a binaural recording arrangement with directional enhancement are disclosed herein. In particular, a first audio signal of a first microphone of a binaural recording device and a second audio signal of a second microphone of the binaural recording device may be enhanced with audio signals received from directional microphones located around the binaural recording device. The binaural recording device may receive the audio signals from the directional microphones and process and mix the audio signals with the first audio signal and the second audio signal to produce a first directionally-enhanced binaural audio signal on a first output channel and a second directionally-enhanced binaural audio signal on a second output channel.
