An image capture device comprising:
- a housing that includes a first port;
- a first cavity that is fluidly connected to the first port and an external environment relative to the image capture device;
- an audio capture device configured to obtain an audible sound;
- a second cavity that is fluidly connected to a second port and the audio capture device;
- and
- a protective layer that separates the first cavity and the second cavity, wherein the first cavity is defined by a portion of the housing and a portion of the protective layer.

An image capture device comprising:
- a housing that includes a first port;
- a first cavity that is fluidly connected to the first port and an external environment relative to the image capture device;
- an audio capture device configured to obtain an audible sound;
- a second cavity that is fluidly connected to a second port and the audio capture device;
- a dampener configured to absorb vibration energy;
- and
- a protective layer that separates the first cavity and the second cavity, wherein the first cavity is defined by a portion of the housing and a first surface of the protective layer and the second cavity is defined by a portion of the dampener and a second surface of the protective layer.

An image capture device comprising:
- a housing that includes a first port fluidly connected to an external environment relative to the image capture device and a second port spaced from and fluidly connected to the first port;
- a protective layer disposed between the first port and the second port;
- an audio capture device configured to obtain an audible sound via the second port;
- a first cavity extending between the first port and a first surface of the protective layer;
- and
- a second cavity extending between a second surface of the protective layer, the second port, and the audio capture device.
