Abstract
Data transfer method and apparatus for use in a mobile communication system are provided. Method to control the MIMO resources includes receiving MAC Control Element related with MIMO resource, adapting the MIMO resource according to the received MAC Control Elements, detecting a specific event impacting MIMO resource and adapting the MIMO resource according to the detected event.
Claims10
A method by a terminal, the method comprising:
- receiving, from a base station, MIMO(multi input multi output) configuration information in a RRC(radio resource control) message;
- receiving, from the base station, MIMO resource related MAC(medium access control) CE(control element) for a specific BWP(bandwidth part) of a specific serving cell;
- performing MIMO resource related operation 1 for the BWP of the serving cell;
- detecting EVENT 1;
- performing MIMO resource related operation 2;
- detecting EVENT 2;
- performing MIMO resource related operation 3;
- detecting EVENT 3;
- performing MIMO resource related operation 4;
- wherein the MIMO resource related MAC CE is one of semi-persistent CSI-RS(channel state information reference signal)/CSI-IM(channel state information-interference measurement) Resource Set Activation/Deactivation MAC CE, SP(semi-persistent) ZP(zero-power) CSI-RS Resource Set relation Activation/Deactivation MAC CE, SP(semi-persistent) CSI(channel state information) reporting on PUCCH(physical uplink control channel) Activation/Deactivation MAC CE and SP(semi-persistent) SRS(sounding reference signal) Activation/Deactivation MAC CE,
- wherein the EVENT 1 is detected when a SCell(secondary cell) Activation/Deactivation MAC CE is received to deactivate the serving cell,
- wherein the EVENT 2 is detected when a Downlink Control Information is received to switch the activated BWP from the BWP of the serving cell to other BWP of the serving cell, and
- wherein the EVENT 3 is detected when TAT(time alignment timer) expires.
