Lever-type connector

A lever-type connector (A), comprising:

• a connector body (10);
• a terminal fitting (13) to be inserted into a terminal accommodation chamber (12) through a terminal insertion opening (16) open in an outer surface of the connector body (10);
• a lever (20) to be mounted on the connector body (10), rotated from an initial position to a connection position in connecting the lever-type connector (A) to a mating connector (B) and located at a retracted position spaced from the terminal insertion opening (16) in inserting the terminal fitting (13) into the terminal accommodation chamber (12);
• a separation restricting lock arm (31) formed on either one of the connector body (10) and the lever (20), capable of locking the lever (20) at the connection position in a state where rotation toward the initial position is restricted and configured to unlock the lever (20) and allow the lever (20) to rotate toward the initial position by being resiliently deformed;
• and
• an excessive rotation restricting lock arm (35) formed on either one of the connector body (10) and the lever (20), capable of locking the lever (20) at the connection position in a state where rotation toward the retracted position is restricted and configured to unlock the lever (20) and allow the lever (20) to rotate toward the retracted position by being resiliently deformed.
