Abstract
Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed for signal identification using a low power watermark. Example apparatus for media identification based on watermarks includes a first processor to determine, in response to receiving a signal, if a first watermark is present in the signal using a first processing technique. The example first processor is further to provoke, in response to the first watermark being present in the signal, a second processing technique on a signal processor. The signal processor is to extract a second watermark in the signal using the second processing technique.
Claims20
An apparatus for media identification based on watermarks, the apparatus comprising:
- a first processor to:
- determine, in response to receiving a signal, if a first watermark is present in the signal using a first processing technique;
- provoke, in response to the first watermark being present in the signal, a second processing technique on a signal processor;
- and
- the signal processor to:
- extract a second watermark in the signal using the second processing technique.
An apparatus for watermark encoding, the apparatus comprising:
- a low power watermark manager to determine, based on encoder rules and media identification watermark characteristics, characteristics of a low power watermark;
- and
- a low power watermark generator to add the low power watermark to an audio signal including media.
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium comprising instructions which, when executed, cause a machine to at least:
- determine, in response to receiving a signal, if a first watermark is present in the signal using a first processing technique;
- provoke, in response to the first watermark being present in the signal, a second processing technique on a signal processor;
- and
- extract a second watermark in the signal using the second processing technique.
