Abstract
A method includes receiving an identification of a first item to be purchased, entering the first item into an electronic shopping cart facilitating an on-line transaction, providing a method of payment for a value of the first item to the shopping cart, and sending the value of the first item and a description of the item to a recipient with at least the following electronic options from which the recipient may choose: accepting the first item with payment made and modifying the transaction in accordance with the value of the first item.
Claims20
A system comprising:
- a non-transitory memory;
- and
- one or more hardware processors coupled to the non-transitory memory and configured to read instructions from the non-transitory memory to cause the system to perform operations comprising:
- receiving, over a network connection, a payment request for a first item on a first shopping cart associated with a first user;
- processing, by the system, the payment request for the first item;
- transferring, by the system, the first item on the first shopping cart to a second shopping cart associated with a second user;
- receiving, over another network connection, a purchase request for a second item different from the first item from a second user device associated with the second user;
- determining, by the system, a cost of the second item is greater than the first item;
- and
- in response to the determining, transmitting over the network connection, a total payment request to a first user device associated with the first user.
A method comprising:
- receiving, over a network connection, a checkout request for a secondary item on a shopping cart associated with a secondary user;
- determining, by a system, a cost value of the secondary item is greater than a value associated with a primary item in the shopping cart, the determining in response to a modifying of the primary item to the secondary item;
- and
- transmitting, by the system, a payment request to a primary user for a cost difference associated with the secondary item.
A non-transitory machine-readable medium having stored thereon machine-readable instructions executable to cause a machine to perform operations comprising:
- receiving, over a network connection, a payment request for a first item on a first shopping cart associated with a first user;
- processing the payment request for the first item;
- transferring the first item on the first shopping cart to a second shopping cart associated with a second user;
- receiving, over another network connection, a purchase request for a second item different from the first item from a second user device associated with the second user;
- determining a cost of the second item is greater than the first item;
- and
- in response to the determining, transmitting over the network connection, a total payment request to a first user device associated with the first user.
