Abstract
A method for validating a transaction transmitted on a distributed ledger system network includes receiving, by a first node of the distributed ledger system network, verification data associated with the transaction from a second node of the distributed ledger system network. The verification data includes a digital signature generated in a secure enclave of the second node. The first node integrates the verification data into a distributed ledger of the distributed ledger system network.
Claims16
A method for validating a transaction transmitted on a distributed ledger system network, the method comprising:
- receiving, by a first node of the distributed ledger system network, verification data associated with the transaction from a second node of the distributed ledger system network, the verification data comprising a digital signature generated in a secure enclave of the second node;
- and
- integrating, by the first node, the verification data into a distributed ledger of the distributed ledger system network.
A distributed ledger node comprising one or more processors which, alone or in combination, are configured to provide performance of the following steps:
- receiving verification data associated with a transaction from a second node of a distributed ledger system network, the verification data comprising a digital signature generated in a secure enclave of the second node;
- and
- integrating the verification data into a distributed ledger of the distributed ledger system network.
A distributed ledger node comprising one or more processors, which comprise a secure enclave, coupled to at least one memory, the memory comprising non-transitory computer readable instructions which, when executed by the one or more processors provide for performance of the following steps:
- receiving distributed ledger data from a distributed ledger network;
- passing the received distributed ledger data to the secure enclave;
- determining in the secure enclave whether the distributed ledger data comprises valid transactions, validity being determined according to a distributed ledger protocol;
- and
- generating in the secure enclave a digital signature based on a determination that the distributed ledger data comprises valid transactions.
