Abstract
A display device includes a first substrate having a light-emitting element. A second substrate is disposed over the first substrate. A sealing member is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The sealing member couples the first substrate and the second substrate together. The sealing member includes a first linear portion extending in a first direction, and a second linear portion extending in a second direction different from the first direction. A maximum width of the first linear portion is greater than a maximum width of the second linear portion.

A display device, comprising:
- a first substrate including a light-emitting element;
- a second substrate disposed over the first substrate;
- and
- a sealing member disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, the sealing member coupling the first substrate and the second substrate together,
- wherein the sealing member includes a first linear portion extending in a first direction, and a second linear portion extending in a second direction different from the first direction, and
- wherein a maximum width of the first linear portion is greater than a maximum width of the second linear portion.
A display device, comprising:
- a first substrate including a first base substrate and a light-emitting element disposed on the first base substrate;
- a second substrate disposed over the first substrate;
- and
- a sealing member disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, the sealing member coupling the first substrate and the second substrate together,
- wherein the first base substrate includes a main portion having a maximum width in a first direction, and a protruding portion protruding from the main portion in a second direction different from the first direction and having a second maximum width smaller than the first maxim width in the first direction, and
- a maximum width of the sealing member overlapping the protruding portion is greater than a maximum width of the sealing member overlapping the main portion.
A display device, in which a display area and a non-display area are defined, the display device comprising:
- a first substrate including a first base substrate and a light-emitting element disposed on the first base substrate;
- a second substrate disposed over the first substrate;
- and
- a sealing member disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, coupling the first substrate and the second substrate together, and including a first portion extending in a first direction and a second portion extending in a second direction different from the first direction,
- wherein one side edge of the first base substrate in the second direction has an at least partially indented shape,
- wherein the one side edge includes a first edge extending in the first direction and a second edge extending in the first direction and indented relative to the first edge, and
- wherein a maximum width of the sealing member adjacent to the first edge and extending in the first direction is greater than a maximum width of the sealing member adjacent to the second edge and extending in the first direction.
