Abstract
A method includes receiving information associated with an event in an industrial process control and automation system, the information obtained from one or more sources of data related to the industrial process control and automation system. The method also includes determining whether the event has previously occurred. The method also includes responsive to the event previously occurring, generating a notification for a mobile end-user device using the received information associated with the event. The notification includes at least one resolution for the event.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- receiving information associated with an event in an industrial process control and automation system, the information obtained from one or more sources of data related to the industrial process control and automation system;
- determining whether the event has previously occurred;
- and
- responsive to the event previously occurring, generating a notification for a mobile end-user device using the received information associated with the event, wherein the notification includes at least one resolution for the event.
An apparatus comprising:
- a memory configured to store at least one resolution;
- and
- at least one processing device coupled to the memory, the at least one processing device configured to:
- receive information associated with an event in an industrial process control and automation system, the information obtained from one or more sources of data related to the industrial process control and automation system;
- determine whether the event has previously occurred;
- and
- responsive to the event previously occurring, generate a notification for a mobile end-user device using the received information associated with the event, wherein the notification includes at least one resolution for the event.
A non-transitory computer readable medium containing computer readable program code that, when executed, causes at least one processing device to:
- receive information associated with an event in an industrial process control and automation system, the information obtained from one or more sources of data related to the industrial process control and automation system;
- determine whether the event has previously occurred;
- and
- responsive to the event previously occurring, generate a notification for a mobile end-user device using the received information associated with the event, wherein the notification includes at least one resolution for the event.
