Display screen and mobile terminal

A mobile terminal comprising:

• a display screen comprising:
• a backlight module used to provide a backlight by a backlight source;
• an accommodation space at least penetrating the backlight module and used to accommodate functional elements;
• and
• wherein the pixels per inch (PPI) of a first display area of the backlight module is smaller than the PPI of a second display area of the backlight module, wherein the first display area is around the accommodation space and on one side of the accommodation space away from the backlight source;
• and
• functional elements being electrically mounted in the accommodation space.

A mobile terminal comprising:

• a display screen comprising:
• a backlight module used to provide a backlight by a backlight source;
• an accommodation space at least penetrating the backlight module and used to accommodate functional elements;
• and
• a display panel comprising a non-display area corresponding to the accommodation space in the backlight module, a first display area being set on one side of the non-display area, which is further away from the backlight source than the other side of the non-display area, and a second display area surrounding the non-display area and the first display area, wherein the pixels per inch (PPI) of the first display area is smaller than the PPI of the second display area;
• and
• a non-display assembly mounted in the accommodation space and used to accommodate the functional elements.
