Abstract
Generally discussed herein are systems, devices, and methods for providing a therapy (e.g., stimulation) and/or data signal using an implantable device. Systems, devices and methods for interacting with (e.g., communicating with, receiving power from) an external device are also provided.
Claims20
An implantable device comprising:
- a feedthrough assembly including:
- an inner region comprising one or more electrical conductors, each of the conductors extending from one surface of the feedthrough assembly to an opposite surface of the feedthrough assembly, and
- an outer flange that substantially surrounds the inner region;
- and
- a circuit assembly comprising one or more conductive pads on a first surface of the circuit assembly;
- wherein the one or more electrical conductors from the inner region of the feedthrough assembly are respectively coupled with the one or more conductive pads of the circuit assembly.

An implantable system comprising an elongate structure configured for implantation in a patient body, the system comprising:
- a circuit assembly including proximal and distal portions that are coupled by at least one flexible circuit portion;
- and
- a hermetic enclosure configured to enclose the circuit assembly, wherein the hermetic enclosure includes:
- a first feedthrough assembly with electrical conductors that are coupled to respective conductors on the proximal portion of the circuit assembly;
- and
- a second feedthrough assembly with different electrical conductors that are coupled to respective conductors on the distal portion of the circuit assembly.
3 more elements
A method for assembling a portion of an implantable device, the method comprising:
- electrically connecting circuit terminals on a circuit assembly to respective conductors of a first feedthrough assembly, the first feedthrough assembly including an inner region with the conductors and an outer flange that substantially surrounds the inner region;
- situating at least a portion of the circuit assembly inside an enclosure;
- and
- coupling a flange portion of the first feedthrough assembly with the enclosure.
