Abstract
A portable anesthesia apparatus may include an anesthesia transportation cart, a hospital-grade anesthesia machine mounted on the anesthesia transportation cart, and a hospital-grade CO2 absorber mounted on the anesthesia transportation cart. The portable anesthesia apparatus may have an apparatus footprint area AFA of not greater than about 1.0 m2.

A portable anesthesia apparatus comprising:
- an anesthesia transportation cart;
- a hospital-grade anesthesia machine mounted on the anesthesia transportation cart;
- and
- a hospital-grade CO2 absorber mounted on the anesthesia transportation cart, wherein the portable anesthesia apparatus has an AFA of not greater than about 1.0 m2.

- a portable base;
- a mounting post extending up from the portable base;
- a CO2 absorber mount attached to the mounting post;
- an equipment shelf attached to the mounting post;
- and
