Abstract
Oral dosage forms of osteoclast inhibitors, such as neridronic acid, in an acid or a salt form, can be used to treat or alleviate pain or related conditions, such as complex regional pain syndrome.
Claims26
A method of treating pain in a human being suffering from warm complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) comprising administering neridronic acid in an acid form or a salt form to the human being suffering from warm CRPS and arthritis, wherein the human being has pain in a limb and the treatment is effective in reducing pain in the limb, and wherein the warmth of the affected limb is reduced by at least about 5%.
