Abstract
Pharmaceutical compositions comprising a combination of a Class I isoform-selective histone deacetylase inhibitor and a protein kinase C modulator are described as well as methods of using these compositions for treating HIV-1 latency.
Claims21
A pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a histone deactylase (HDAC) inhibitor that is selective to Class I HDACs and a protein kinase C (PKC) modulator.
A method of treating HIV-1 latency in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject a first pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a histone deactylase (HDAC) inhibitor that is selective to Class I HDACs and a second pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a protein kinase C (PKC) modulator.
A kit comprising a first pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a histone deactylase (HDAC) inhibitor that is selective to Class I HDACs and a second pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a protein kinase C (PKC) modulator.
