Abstract
The present invention relates to applications of a novel thiazole derivative in treating ulcerative colitis and in the preparation of drugs for treating ulcerative colitis. The present invention specifically relates to applications of a compound represented by formula I and a pharmaceutical composition containing the compound represented by formula I, in treating ulcerative colitis and in the preparation of drugs for treating ulcerative colitis:

A method for treating inflammatory bowel disease, wherein the method comprises administrating a compound of formula I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester thereof or a pharmaceutical composition to a subject in need of the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease, and the pharmaceutical composition comprises a compound of formula I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester thereof and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or excipient:
- wherein,
- R1 is selected from the group consisting of H, a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C6 alkyl and C3-C6 cycloalkyl;
- R2 is independently selected from the group consisting of H, halogen, a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C6 alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted C1-C6 alkoxy, CN, NO2, hydroxy and NRaRb;
- Ra, Rb are independently selected from H or C1-C6 alkyl;
- R3 is selected from the group consisting of H and a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C6 alkyl;
- R4 is selected from the group consisting of H and halogen;
- m is an integer from 0 to 4;
- n is an integer from 0 to 5.

A pharmaceutical composition, wherein the pharmaceutical composition is used for treating inflammatory bowel disease and comprises a compound of formula I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester thereof, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or excipient:
