Abstract
A method for detecting a wearable device's contact with a living body may be provided, including obtaining a decreasing rate of body temperature and a decreasing a rate of environmental temperature measured by a wearable device worn on a living body; and determining the wearable device's contact with the living body based on a comparison of the decreasing rate of body temperature and the decreasing rate of environmental temperature. A corresponding apparatus and computer program product for detecting a wearable device's contact with a living body may also be provided.
Claims22
A method comprising:
- obtaining a decreasing rate of body temperature and a decreasing a rate of environmental temperature measured by a wearable device worn on a living body;
- and
- determining the wearable device's contact with the living body based on a comparison of the decreasing rate of body temperature and the decreasing rate of environmental temperature.
An apparatus comprising
- at least one processor;
- and
- at least one memory including computer program code;
- the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus at least to:
- obtain a decreasing rate of body temperature and a decreasing a rate of environmental temperature measured by a wearable device worn on a living body;
- and
- determine the wearable device's contact with the living body based on a comparison of the decreasing rate of body temperature and the decreasing rate of environmental temperature.
A computer program product comprising at least one computer-readable storage medium having computer-readable program code portions stored therein, the computer-readable program code portions comprising:
- a first program code portion configured to obtain a decreasing rate of body temperature and a decreasing a rate of environmental temperature measured by a wearable device worn on a living body;
- and
- a second program code portion configured to determine the wearable device's contact with the living body based on a comparison of the decreasing rate of body temperature and the decreasing rate of environmental temperature.
