Abstract
An agglomerate is provided that can include an aluminosilicate (ash) base material and one or more of a binding agent or leach reduction agent. Each of the agglomerate and binding agent can include no more than about 25 wt. % cement.
Claims40
A composition, comprising:
- an aluminosilicate ash base material;
- and
- a leach reduction additive, wherein the leach reduction additive comprises one or more of a liquid alkane, a paraffin wax dissolved in a short chain alkane solvent having a carbon chain length of 16 or less carbon atoms, a fatty acid ester, stearic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid, a glyceryl fatty acid ester, an alkene, a cycloalkane, methyl cellulose, a silicone, and a trihydroxy alcohol ester of one or more of stearic acid, oleic acid and palmitic acid.
An agglomerate, comprising:
- an aluminosilicate ash base material;
- a leach reduction additive;
- and
- a binding agent.

An agglomerate, comprising:
- an aluminosilicate ash base material;
- a flue gas desulfurization solid from the reaction of a flue gas desulfurization agent and an acid gas;
- and
- a leach reduction additive.
1 more element
An agglomerate, comprising:
- activated carbon;
- a heavy metal;
- a halogen-containing compound;
- and
- a leach reduction additive, wherein the leach reduction additive is one or more of an alkane, fatty acid ester, stearic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid, an ester of a trihydroxy alcohol with one or more of stearic acid, oleic acid, and palmitic acid, an alkene, a cycloalkane, a cellulose, and silicone.
