Combination appliance and methods of use

A combination appliance, comprising:

• a toaster assembly including a front surface, a rear surface, side surfaces extending between the front and rear surfaces, and at least one heating chamber;
• and
• a toaster oven assembly including a front surface, a rear surface, side surfaces extending between the front and rear surfaces, a heating chamber, and a door at the front surface of the toaster oven assembly;
• wherein the toaster assembly is vertically disposed over the toaster oven assembly with the front, rear and side surfaces of the toaster and toaster oven assemblies substantially aligned;
• and
• wherein a width of the combination appliance defined by the front surface of the toaster and toaster oven assemblies is dimensioned smaller than a depth of the combination appliance defined by the side surfaces of the toaster and toaster oven assemblies.

A method of cooking a foodstuff, comprising:

• placing the foodstuff within a heating chamber of a combination appliance, the combination appliance comprising:
• a first appliance including a front surface, a rear surface, and side surfaces extending between the front and rear surfaces;
• and
• a second appliance including a front surface, a rear surface, side surfaces extending between the front and rear surfaces, and a door at the front surface of the second appliance;
• wirelessly connecting to the combination appliance with a remote device;
• and
• controlling a cooking operation of the combination appliance with the remote device, wherein the first appliance is vertically disposed over the second appliance with the front, rear and side surfaces of the first and second appliances substantially aligned;
• and
• wherein a width of the combination appliance defined by the front surface of the first and second appliances is dimensioned smaller than a depth of the combination appliance defined by the side surfaces of the first and second appliances.
