Abstract
The present invention relates to an antimicrobial composition comprising polyvalent metal salt of pyrithione; 0.001% to 3% by weight thymol, and 0.001% to 3% by weight terpineol; wherein, the ratio of % weight of polyvalent metal salt of pyrithione to sum of % weight of thymol and terpineol ranges from 0.005:1 to 200:1.
Claims14
An antimicrobial composition comprising:
- (a) polyvalent metal salt of pyrithione;
- (b) 0.001% to 3% by weight thymol, and
- (c) 0.001% to 3% by weight terpineol based on total weight of the composition;
- wherein, the ratio of % weight of polyvalent metal salt of pyrithione to sum of % weight of thymol and terpineol ranges from 0.005:1 to 200:1.
