## Abstract

In one example, a method includes receiving, from a mobile wireless device, a care request that includes a user description of a request for service that identifies a problem experienced by the user concerning operation of the mobile wireless device and/or a wireless communication network. The method further includes correlating the problem with data associated with one or more peer mobile wireless devices, where the correlating is based on wireless communication network analytics performed with respect to the peer mobile wireless devices. As well, the method includes identifying a probable cause for the problem based on results of the correlating, automatically matching the probable cause of the problem to a proposed solution, automatically transmitting to the mobile wireless device, information identifying the probable cause of, and the proposed solution to, the problem, and implementing the proposed solution when user input is received indicating user permission for such implementation.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method, comprising:
receiving, from a mobile wireless device, a care request that includes a description of a request for service that identifies a problem experienced by a user concerning operation of at least one of the mobile wireless device or a wireless communication network;
correlating the care request identifying the problem with data associated with one or more peer mobile wireless devices, wherein the correlating is based on wireless communication network analytics performed with respect to the one or more peer mobile wireless devices;
identifying a probable cause of the problem based on results of the correlating;
automatically matching the identified probable cause of the problem to a proposed solution;
automatically transmitting, to the mobile wireless device, information identifying the probable cause of, and the proposed solution to, the problem; and
implementing the proposed solution when user input is received indicating user permission for such implementation.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method as recited in claim 1, wherein the proposed solution is a configuration change associated with the mobile wireless device and/or with the wireless communication network.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method as recited in claim 1, wherein the user input is received by way of the mobile wireless device.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method as recited in claim 1, further comprising, prior to implementation of the proposed solution, taking a snapshot of a configuration of the mobile wireless device and/or of the wireless communication network.

### Claim 5 (depends on 2)

The method as recited in claim 2, further comprising reverting to a pre-configuration change state of the mobile wireless device and/or the wireless communication network when implementation of the proposed solution does not produce acceptable results in performance of the mobile wireless device and/or of the wireless communication network.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The method as recited in claim 1, wherein a part of the proposed solution is implemented by a wireless communication network operator.

### Claim 7 (depends on 2)

The method as recited in claim 2, further comprising receiving, from the mobile wireless device, a performance measurement taken after the configuration change has been made.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The method as recited in claim 7, further comprising, after receipt of the performance measurement, receiving an indication from the user that either the user desires to maintain the configuration change, or that the user desires to revert to a pre-configuration change state of at least one of the mobile wireless device or the wireless communication network.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The method as recited in claim 1, wherein the proposed solution is one of a plurality of user-selectable potential solutions identified to the mobile wireless device.

### Claim 10 (depends on 1)

The method as recited in claim 1, wherein automatically transmitting to the mobile wireless device, the information identifying the probable cause of, and the proposed solution to, the problem comprises transmitting, to the mobile wireless device, descriptions of suboptimal performance that are consistent with a divergence of a configuration of the mobile wireless device relative to a modal configuration associated with one or more of the one or more peer mobile wireless devices.

### Claim 11

A non-transitory storage medium having stored therein computer-executable instructions which, when executed by one or more hardware processors, perform operations:
receiving, from a mobile wireless device, a care request that includes a description of a request for service that identifies a problem experienced by a user concerning operation of at least one of the mobile wireless device or a wireless communication network;
correlating the care request identifying the problem with data associated with one or more peer mobile wireless devices, wherein the correlating is based on wireless communication network analytics performed with respect to the one or more peer mobile wireless devices;
identifying a probable cause of the problem based on results of the correlating;
automatically matching the identified probable cause of the problem to a proposed solution;
automatically transmitting, to the mobile wireless device, information identifying the probable cause of, and the proposed solution to, the problem; and
implementing the proposed solution when user input is received indicating user permission for such implementation.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The non-transitory storage medium as recited in claim 11, wherein the proposed solution is a configuration change associated with the mobile wireless device and/or with the wireless communication network.

### Claim 13 (depends on 11)

The non-transitory storage medium as recited in claim 11, wherein the user input is received by way of the mobile wireless device.

### Claim 14 (depends on 11)

The non-transitory storage medium as recited in claim 11, wherein the operations further comprise, prior to implementation of the proposed solution, taking a snapshot of a configuration of the mobile wireless device and/or of the wireless communication network.

### Claim 15 (depends on 12)

The non-transitory storage medium as recited in claim 12, wherein the operations further comprise reverting to a pre-configuration change state of the mobile wireless device and/or the wireless communication network when implementation of the proposed solution does not produce acceptable results in performance of the mobile wireless device and/or of the wireless communication network.

### Claim 16 (depends on 11)

The non-transitory storage medium as recited in claim 11, wherein a part of the proposed solution is implemented by a wireless communication network operator.

### Claim 17 (depends on 12)

The non-transitory storage medium as recited in claim 12, wherein the operations further comprise receiving, from the mobile wireless device, a performance measurement taken after the configuration change has been made.

### Claim 18 (depends on 17)

The non-transitory storage medium as recited in claim 17, wherein the operations further comprise, after receipt of the performance measurement, receiving an indication from the user that either the user desires to maintain the configuration change, or that the user desires to revert to a pre-configuration change state of at least one of the mobile wireless device or the wireless communication network.
