## Abstract

A client information handling system application selectively communicates network packets simultaneously through plural network interfaces by leveraging network address translation at the network layer of the network packets. Network packets are distributed across the plural network interfaces to achieve desired network communication goals, such as bandwidth, data rates, quality of service, reliability and SAR requirements.

## Claims

### Claim at position 1

-9. (canceled)

### Claim 10

A method for communicating between a client information handling system and an external network, the method comprising:
generating network packets with an application executing on the client information handling system, the network packets having a first Internet Protocol address associated with a first network medium and a second Internet Protocol address associated with a second network medium;
translating at least some of the network packets to replace the first or second Internet Protocol address with an aggregated Internet Protocol address;
tracking an association of the aggregated Internet Protocol address and the application in memory; and
forwarding the network packets to the external network.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The method of claim 10 further comprising:
forwarding the network packets from the client information handling system to an access point through the first and second network mediums; and
translating the at least some of the network packets at the access point.

### Claim 12 (depends on 10)

The method of claim 10 further comprising:
forwarding the network packets from the client information handling system through a peer-to-peer network interface to a second client information handling system through one of the first and second network mediums; and
translating the at least some of the network packets at the second client information handling system.

### Claim 13 (depends on 10)

The method of claim 10 further comprising:
forwarding the network packets from the client information handling system through a mesh network interface to a second client information handling system through one of the first and second network mediums; and
translating the at least some of the network packets at the second client information handling system.

### Claim 14 (depends on 10)

The method of claim 10 wherein the translating further comprises:
replacing a source Internet Protocol address of the network packets with the aggregated Internet Protocol address; and
re-calculating a checksum of the network packets to adapt to the aggregated Internet Protocol address.

### Claim 15

A method for communication between a client information handling system and an external network through an access point, the method comprising:
establishing plural network interfaces between the client information handling system and the access point;
communicating a coupling request from the client information handling system through one of the plural network interfaces to the access point, the coupling request associating a client application port to an Internet Protocol address of each of the plural network interfaces;
storing the coupling request at the access point in association with an access point application port;
communicating packets through the plural network interfaces to the access point with the client application port; and
in response to receiving packets at the access point with the client application port, translating the packets for communication from the access point to include an access pointer Internet Protocol address and the access point application port.

### Claim 16 (depends on 15)

The method of claim 15 further comprising:
receiving network packets at the access point having the access point application port; and
in response to the receiving, translating the packets for communication from the access point to the client information handling system by replacing the access point Internet Protocol address with one of the plural network interfaces' Internet Protocol addresses and the client application port.

### Claim 17 (depends on 16)

The method of claim 16 further comprising:
sending all network packets associated with the application port from the client information handling system to the access point through one of the plural network interfaces; and
sending all network packets associated with the application port from the access point to the client information handling system through a different one of the plural network interfaces.

### Claim 18 (depends on 16)

The method of claim 16 further comprising distributing network packets communicated between the access point and the client information handling system between the plural network interfaces based upon one or more predetermined factors.

### Claim 19 (depends on 18)

The method of claim 18 wherein the one or more predetermined factors comprises an amount of radio frequency emitted at the client information handling system.

### Claim 20 (depends on 18)

The method of claim 18 wherein the one or more predetermined factors comprises bandwidth available at the network interfaces.
