## Abstract

A computing system includes at least one processor and memory storing instructions executable by the at least one processor, wherein the instructions, when executed, cause the computing system to identify configuration data that defines computing functionality of a first service instance assigned to an end user tenant in the computing system, generate a test tenant comprising a second service instance provisioned with computing resources that are configured based on the configuration data, detect a technical issue in the first service instance, and generate the technical issue in the second service instance.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A computing system comprising:
at least one processor;
memory storing instructions executable by the at least one processor, wherein the instructions, when executed, cause the computing system to:
identify configuration data that defines computing functionality of a first service instance assigned to an end user tenant in the computing system;
generate a test tenant comprising a second service instance provisioned with computing resources that are configured based on the configuration data;
detect a technical issue in the first service instance; and
generate the technical issue in the second service instance.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The computing system of claim 1, wherein the instructions cause the computing system to:
identify a first location in a data center to which the first service instance is deployed;
identify a second location in the data center that corresponds to the first location;
provision the second service instance with computing resources in the second location in the data center.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The computing system of claim 2, wherein the first and second service instances simultaneously reside within a same portion of the data center.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

The computing system of claim 3, wherein the same portion of the data center comprises a particular database or logical grouping of databases.

### Claim 5 (depends on 2)

The computing system of claim 2, wherein the instructions cause the computing system to:
store mapping information that maps the end user tenant to the test tenant; and
reproduce the technical issue using the mapping information to select the test tenant.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The computing system of claim 1, wherein the instructions cause the computing system to:
generate an interface configured to access the test tenant and reproduce the technical issue in the second service instance.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The computing system of claim 6, wherein the interface comprises a user interface display comprising user input mechanisms configured to access the test tenant and reproduce the technical issue in the test tenant.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The computing system of claim 1, wherein the instructions configure the computing system to:
monitor the test tenant to identify the technical issue in the test tenant.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The computing system of claim 1, wherein the computing system comprises a multi-tenant cloud computing system.

### Claim 10 (depends on 1)

The computing system of claim 1, wherein the end user tenant includes end user-specific data, and wherein the test tenant comprises a substantial reproduction of the end user tenant that mimics the service functionality without the end user-specific data.

### Claim 11 (depends on 1)

The computing system of claim 1, wherein the instructions configure the computing system to:
define a first deployment schedule for deploying a first set of test tenants, having a first service type, to the computing system; and
define a second deployment schedule for deploying a second set of test tenants, having a second service type, to the computing system.

### Claim 12

A method performed by a computing system, the method comprising:
identifying configuration data that defines computing functionality of a first service instance assigned to an end user tenant in the computing system;
generating a test tenant comprising a second service instance provisioned with computing resources that are configured based on the configuration data;
detecting a technical issue in the first service instance; and
generating the technical issue in the second service instance.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

The method of claim 12, wherein the instructions cause the computing system to:
identifying a first location in a data center to which the first service instance is deployed;
identifying a second location in the data center that corresponds to the first location;
provisioning the second service instance with computing resources in the second location in the data center.

### Claim 14 (depends on 13)

The method of claim 13, wherein the first and second service instances simultaneously reside within a same portion of the data center.

### Claim 15 (depends on 14)

The method of claim 14, wherein the same portion of the data center comprises a particular database or logical grouping of databases.

### Claim 16 (depends on 13)

The method of claim 13, wherein the instructions cause the computing system to:
storing mapping information that maps the end user tenant to the test tenant; and
reproducing the technical issue using the mapping information to select the test tenant.

### Claim 17

A computing system comprising:
at least one processor;
memory storing instructions executable by the at least one processor, wherein the instructions, when executed, configure the computing system to provide:
a deployment system configured to deploy an end user tenant based on configuration data that defines service functionality for the end user tenant, wherein the end user tenant includes end user-specific data; and
a test tenant generation system configured to control the deployment system to deploy a test tenant based on the configuration data, the test tenant comprising a substantial reproduction of the end user tenant that mimics the service functionality of the deployed end user tenant without the end user-specific data.

### Claim 18 (depends on 17)

The computing system of claim 17, wherein the instructions configure the computing system to provide:
