## Abstract

The present invention discloses a method, a device and a system for transmitting an enhanced downlink control channel, which belong to the communications field. The method for sending an enhanced downlink control channel includes: presetting a multiplexing unit, where the multiplexing unit includes at least one resource block pair, and the at least one resource block pair includes E-PDCCH resources and DM RS resources, and the E-PDCCH resources include multiple control channel elements; sending at least one E-PDCCH corresponding to at least one UE in at least one control channel element of the multiplexing unit, and sending the DM RS corresponding to the at least one UE. The present invention reduces the granularity of an enhanced downlink control channel, saves resources and enhances the downlink control channel, thereby providing more control channels for the UE to use.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method for receiving a downlink control channel, comprising:
receiving, using a demodulation reference (DM RS) port, a signal on at least one resource block pair, each of the at least one resource block pair comprises downlink control channel resources and DM RS resources, the downlink control channel resources comprise multiple control channel elements, and an allocation pattern of the control channel elements in the at least one resource block pair is bound to the DM RS port;
performing channel estimation using all DM RSs received on the at least one resource block pair; and
demodulating the signal received on the downlink control channel resources in the at least one resource block pair using a result of the channel estimation, to obtain a downlink control channel.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the at least one resource block pair is one resource block pair.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the at least one resource block pair is at least two resource block pairs, and the at least two resource block pairs corresponds to one DM RS port.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

The method according to claim 3, wherein the at least two resource block pairs are continuous PRB pairs.

### Claim 5

A device for receiving a downlink control channel, comprising:
a processor; and
a non-transitory memory, wherein the memory stores an execution instruction; and when the processor executes the execution instruction to enable the device to perform the following steps:

performing channel estimation using all DM RSs received on the at least one resource block pair; and
demodulating the signal received on the downlink control channel resources in the at least one resource block pair using a result of the channel estimation, to obtain a downlink control channel.

### Claim 6 (depends on 5)

The device according to claim 5, wherein the at least one resource block pair is one resource block pair.
