## Abstract

Systems and methods for cloud-based surveillance for an operation area are disclosed. At least two input capture devices, at least one safety control device and at least one user device are communicatively connected to a cloud-based analytics platform. The cloud-based analytics platform automatically generates 3-Dimensional (3D) surveillance data based on received 2-Dimensional (2D) video and/or image inputs and perform advanced analytics and activates the at least one safety control device based on analytics data from advanced analytics.

## Claims

### Claim at position 1

-20. (canceled)

### Claim 21

A cloud-based surveillance system for determining at least one pattern of movement, comprising:
one or more processors; and
memory, coupled to the one or more processors, storing programming that, when executed by the one or more processors, causes the cloud-based surveillance system to perform functions including:
communicating, via a wireless network, with at least two input capture devices at a surveillance area, each of the two input capture devices includes at least one sensor configured to capture input data from the surveillance area, wherein the captured input data includes at least one of video, images, or combinations thereof,
receiving, via the wireless network, the input data captured by at least two input capture devices,
generating a 3-Dimensional (3D) representation of at least a portion of the surveillance area based on the received input data from the at least two input capture devices,
performing analytics based on (a) at least a portion of the captured input data and (b) the generated 3D representation, and
determining at least one movement pattern of one or more individuals within the surveillance area based on the performed analytics.

### Claim 22 (depends on 21)

The cloud-based surveillance system of claim 21, wherein the functions include storing the received input data for a selected period of time.

### Claim 23 (depends on 21)

The cloud-based surveillance system of claim 21, wherein the functions include communicating with at least one user device with a display that shows the generated 3D representation.

### Claim 24 (depends on 21)

The cloud-based surveillance system of claim 21, wherein the functions include configuring the at least two ICDs for wireless cross-communication with one another independent of the cloud-based surveillance system, wherein the cross-communication includes transmission of ICD input data and ICD settings.

### Claim 25 (depends on 21)

The cloud-based surveillance system of claim 21, wherein the at least one movement pattern is determined in real-time or near-real-time.

### Claim 26 (depends on 21)

The cloud-based surveillance system of claim 21, wherein the functions include
determining a proposed action based on the at least one movement pattern, and
causing a notification of the proposed action to be sent to a user device communicatively connected to the cloud-based surveillance system.

### Claim 27 (depends on 21)

The cloud-based surveillance system of claim 21 wherein the at least one movement pattern includes an activity information.

### Claim 28 (depends on 21)

The cloud-based surveillance system of claim 21, wherein the at least one movement pattern includes at least one quantifier corresponding to at least of the individuals at the surveillance area.

### Claim 28 (depends on 21)

The cloud-based surveillance system of claim 21, wherein the at least one movement pattern includes at least one of formation of a line, clustering, and/or grouping within at the surveillance area.

### Claim 29 (depends on 21)

The cloud-based surveillance system of claim 21, wherein the functions include indicating an action to be performed to a user device, which is communicatively connected to the cloud-based surveillance system.

### Claim 31 (depends on 21)

The cloud-based surveillance system of claim 21, wherein the input data includes 2-Dimensional (2D) images and/or videos.

### Claim 32

A method for cloud-based surveillance of an environment, comprising:
receiving, via a network, captured input data from a plurality of input capture devices, wherein each input capture device includes a sensor for capturing the input, data from an environment and is configured for network-based communications, wherein the captured input data includes at least one of video, images, or combinations thereof;
generating a 3-Dimensional (3D) representation of at least a portion of the environment based on the received input data from at least two of the input capture devices;
performing analytics based on at least a portion of the received captured input data and the generated 3D visual representation; and
generating a pattern of object movement within the environment based on the analytics.
