Abstract
The detecting a shadow is determined by a modeling of at least a portion of a wind turbine. First and second sensors are arranged relative to the model such that the first sensor detects a light and the second sensor detects a shadow during the conditions where the shadow would be produced.
Claims37
A shadow detection system, comprising:
- a wind turbine model comprising a shadow casting portion;
- a first light sensor;
- and
- a second light sensor,
- wherein the first light sensor and the second light sensors are arranged with the first light sensor detecting a light source and the second light sensor detecting a shadow between the light source and the shadow casting portion.

- arranging a first light sensor;
- and
- arranging a second light sensor, wherein the first light sensor and the second light sensors are arranged with the first light sensor detecting a light source and the second light sensor;
- and
