Abstract
A device and method for manipulating particles is provided. The device generally includes a screen acting as a support for a structure formed by particles, which can be selectively deposited on a first substrate. The device can be included in a 3D printing system.
Claims26
A device for manipulating particles, comprising:
- a flow generator arranged to generate a transport fluid flow;
- and
- a screen having a first outer surface configured to form a particle structure, the screen comprising through-holes opening via openings onto the first outer surface,
- wherein the transport fluid flow only passes through predetermined portions of the first outer surface and transports the particles to or from the first outer surface.
