Abstract
A method for attaching a first window component to a second window component comprising the steps of: engraving a surface of the first window component with at least one first type cavity, and attaching the second window component to the first window component by introducing an anchor portion of the second window component into the least one first type cavity,
Claims15
A method for attaching a first window component to a second window component comprising the steps of:
- a) engraving a surface of the first window component with at least one cavity by subjecting the first window component to a laser beam at a polar angle, α1;
- and
- b) attaching the second window component to the first window component by introducing an anchor portion into the at least one cavity, said anchor portion being an adhesive provided in a layer between the engraved surface of the first window component and the second window component.
A method for attaching a first window component to a second window component comprising the steps of:
- a) engraving a surface of the first window component with at least one cavity by subjecting the first window component to a laser beam at a polar angle, α1;
- and
- b) attaching the second window component to the first window component by introducing an anchor portion of the second window component into the least one cavity, wherein the anchor portion is a thermoplastic polymer, and introducing the anchor portion into the at least one cavity of the engraved surface is performed by melting the anchor portion of the second component and allowing the melted anchor portion to settle into the at least one cavity of the engraved surface of the first window component.
A method for attaching a first window component to a second window component comprising the steps of:
- a) engraving a surface of the first window component with at least one cavity by subjecting the first window component to a laser beam at a polar angle, α1;
- and,
- b) moulding the second window component directly on the engraved surface, whereby an anchor portion of the second window component is introduced into and formed in the at least one cavity of the engraved surface of the first window component.
