A wet shaving device comprising a motor; an actuator configured to vary the speed of the motor; a rotary blade module having at least one cutting element; and a drive train assembly including at least one shaft operatively coupling the motor and the rotary blade module, wherein the at least one shaft may be configured to transfer the rotational movement of the motor to the rotary blade module.

- a motor configured to be rotated about a first axis;
- an actuator configured to vary the speed of the motor;
- a rotary blade module having at least one cutting element, the rotary blade module configured to rotate about an axis that is substantially perpendicular to the first axis;

- a drive train assembly including at least one shaft operatively coupling the motor and the rotary blade module, wherein
- the at least one shaft is configured to transfer the rotational movement of the motor to the rotary blade module.
