Abstract
Mechano-node-pore sensing (mechano-NPS), is a rapid, multi-parametric cell screening method that simultaneously quantifies cell diameter, transit time through a contraction channel, transverse deformation under constant strain, and recovery time after deformation
Claims19
A mechano-node-pore sensor (mechano-NPS) comprising a node-pore sensor operably connected to a microfluidic contraction channel.
A method of mechano-node-pore sensing, comprising integrating a node-pore senso with a contraction channel and performing a four-terminal measurement of the current across the integrated microfluidic channel to quantify four biophysical properties of a single cell, simultaneously:
- diameter, resistance to compressive deformation, transverse deformation, and recovery from deformation.
