Abstract
The invention relates to a working channel element for an endoscope. The working channel element has a tubular shape, which has an inner circumference and an outer circumference and through which an instrument can be pushed. The working channel element is adapted to be temporarily inserted into a working channel of an endoscope with its distal side ahead.

A working channel element for an endoscope,
- wherein the working channel element has a tubular shape which has an inner circumference and an outer circumference and through which an instrument can be pushed,
- wherein the working channel element is adapted to be temporarily inserted into a working channel of an endoscope with its distal side ahead.
A method for using a working channel in an endoscope, characterized in that
- a separate working channel element is, with its distal side ahead, temporarily inserted into a working channel of an endoscope.
