In a process for producing a polycarbonate resin, wherein the improvement comprises:
- an isomer mixture of:
- a 2,6-derivative of a bifunctional compound represented by formula (3-a) below:
- wherein R2 represents H, CH3 or C2H5;
- and
- a 2,7-derivative of a bifunctional compound represented by formula (3-b) below:
- wherein R2 represents H, CH3 or C2H5,
- wherein the mixing ratio between the 2,6-derivative and the 2,7-derivative is 30:70 to 70:30
- is used as a raw material.
