- at least one photochromic colorant,
- wherein the colorant is encapsulated.

Method of using a dental material comprising at least one photochromic colorant, wherein the colorant is encapsulated, for the extraoral production or repair of dental restorations comprising prostheses, artificial teeth, inlays, onlays, crowns and bridges.
