Abstract
A monitoring system for an archery bow is provided. Monitoring devices and methods are also provided.
Claims20
A method for diagnosing an abnormality of an archery bow, the method comprising:
- detecting, by one or more controllers, an operating condition of the archery bow from at least one onboard monitoring device of the archery bow;
- comparing, by the one or more controllers, the operating condition to a threshold operating condition;
- identifying, by the one or more controllers, an abnormal condition based on the comparing of the operating condition to the threshold operating condition;
- and
- presenting, by the one or more controllers, the abnormal condition to a user.
A non-transitory computer readable medium having instructions stored thereon which when executed by a processor cause the processor to:
- receive data from at least one onboard monitoring device of an archery bow;
- detect an operating condition of the archery bow based on the data received from the at least one onboard monitoring device of the archery bow;
- compare the operating condition to a threshold operating condition;
- identify an abnormal condition based on the comparing of the operating condition to the threshold operating condition;
- and
- present an indication of the abnormal condition to a user.
A method for operating an archery bow, the archery bow comprising one or more controllers, a cam, an anchoring lug coupled with the cam, a bow cord coupled with the anchoring lug, and a force sensor coupled with the cam and in communication with the one or more controllers, the method comprising:
- detecting, by the one or more controllers, a tension on the bow cord of the archery bow from the force sensor;
- and
- wirelessly transmitting an indication of the tension to a remote computing device.
