Abstract
Various solutions for handling compression error with respect to user equipment and network apparatus in mobile communications are described. An apparatus may transmit a compressed protocol data unit (PDU) to a network node. The apparatus may receive a negative acknowledgement (NACK) message from the network node. The apparatus may restore a compressed service data unit (SDU) to original data. The apparatus may transmit the original data with an uncompressed format to the network node.

A method, comprising:
- transmitting, by a processor of an apparatus, a compressed protocol data unit (PDU) to a network node;
- receiving, by the processor, a negative acknowledgement (NACK) message from the network node;
- restoring, by the processor, a compressed service data unit (SDU) to original data;
- and
- transmitting, by the processor, the original data with an uncompressed format to the network node.

- a transceiver capable of wirelessly communicating with a network node of a wireless network;

- a processor communicatively coupled to the transceiver, the processor capable of:
- transmitting, via the transceiver, a compressed protocol data unit (PDU) to the network node;
