Abstract
A multi-window user interface (UI) is presented in various configurations and operational uses to leverage the relatively large display canvas afforded by large screen display devices such as 4K or 8K displays. Along with the various “Multiview” aspects, content delivery techniques, content selection techniques, and level of service techniques also are presented.

Apparatus comprising:
- at least one display;
- at least one processor configured to present on the display at least one user interface (UI) comprising:
- a tiled layout in which a currently tuned-to content is shown in a first content pane, and content selected for preview such as by receiving selection of a second in a row of tiles is presented in a preview pane, the first content pane being larger than the second content pane, the preview pane being larger than the second content pane;
- the processor being programmed to receive selection of the preview pane and in response thereto cause content in the preview content to move into the first content pane.

An apparatus, comprising:
- at least one display;
- at least one processor configured to present on the display at least one user interface (UI) comprising:
- a single carousel containing tiles representing content channels;
- a current video pane adjacent the carousel presenting currently played content;
- the carousel being presented as if the tiles are arranged on a disk, such that a center-most tile appears larger than other tiles, which become progressively small from the center-most tile outward, as rotating disk appears in three dimensions when viewed perpendicular to the plane of the disk, the center-most tile associated with an underlying video asset played within the center-most tile, with each of the remaining tiles of the carousel presenting still images until a tile “rotates” into focus.
