Method and device for deblocking filtering a boundary within an intra predicted block

A coding method comprising:

• coding and reconstructing a block of a picture, said block being intra predicted from a plurality of reference blocks, wherein each reference block is a block of samples on which a same transform is applied and wherein said reconstructed block is a block of samples on which a same transform is applied;
• determining a frontier inside the reconstructed block based on a frontier existing between said plurality of reference blocks;
• and
• filtering with a de-artifacting filter along the frontier determined inside the reconstructed block.

A decoding device comprising one or more processors configured to perform:

• decoding a block of a picture, said block being intra predicted from a plurality of reference blocks, wherein each reference block is a block of samples on which a same transform is applied and wherein said decoded block is a block of samples on which a same transform is applied;
• determining a frontier inside the decoded block based on a frontier existing between said plurality of reference blocks;
• and
• filtering with a de-artifacting filter along the frontier determined inside the decoded block.

A coding device comprising one or more processors configured to perform:

• means for coding and reconstructing a block of a picture, said block being intra predicted from a plurality of reference blocks, wherein each reference block is a block of samples on which a same transform is applied and wherein said reconstructed block is a block of samples on which a same transform is applied;
• means for determining a frontier inside the reconstructed block based on a frontier existing between said plurality of reference blocks;
• and
• filtering with a de-artifacting filter along the frontier determined inside the reconstructed block.
