Abstract
Techniques are disclosed for facilitating parallax mitigation for multi-imager systems and methods. In one example, a method includes capturing a first image of a scene using a first imaging device, where the first imaging device is associated with a first optical axis. The method further includes tilting a second optical axis associated with a second imaging device to obtain a tilted optical axis. The method further includes capturing a second image of the scene using the second imaging device and the tilted optical axis. Related devices and other related methods are also provided.
Claims20
A method, comprising:
- capturing a first image of a scene using a first imaging device, wherein the first imaging device is associated with a first optical axis;
- tilting a second optical axis associated with a second imaging device to obtain a tilted optical axis;
- and
- capturing a second image of the scene using the second imaging device and the tilted optical axis.
An imaging system, comprising:
- a first imaging device configured to capture a first image of a scene, wherein the first imaging device has a first optical axis;
- a second imaging device configured to capture a second image of the scene using a tilted optical axis, wherein the second imaging device has a second optical axis;
- and
- a lens disposed in front of the second imaging device, wherein the lens is configured to tilt the second optical axis to obtain the tilted optical axis.
