Method and apparatus for configuring and transmitting pilot

An apparatus, comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• a non-transitory processor-readable medium storing program codes that, when executed by the processor, configure the apparatus to:
• generate a first initial value of a first demodulation pilot sequence based on a first parameter set, wherein the first parameter set is determined based on a first resource set corresponding to a first downlink control information (DCI) format set;
• generate a second initial value of a second demodulation pilot sequence based on a second parameter set, wherein the second parameter set is determined based on a second resource set corresponding to a second DCI format set;
• obtain the first demodulation pilot sequence based on the first initial value;
• and
• obtain the second demodulation pilot sequence based on the second initial value.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:

• generate a first initial value of a first demodulation pilot sequence based on a first parameter set, wherein the first parameter set is determined based on a first resource set corresponding to a first downlink control information (DCI) format set;
• generate a second initial value of a second demodulation pilot sequence based on a second parameter set, wherein the second parameter set is determined based on a second resource set corresponding to a second DCI format set;
• obtain the first demodulation pilot sequence based on the first initial value;
• and
• obtain the second demodulation pilot sequence based on the second initial value.
