Abstract
The present invention discloses a method of transmitting uplink control information by a user equipment in a wireless communication system and device for supporting the same. Specifically, the present invention discloses a method by which a user equipment maps uplink control information to a physical uplink shared channel when the user equipment intends to transmit the uplink control information on the physical uplink shared channel and transmission operation for the uplink control information based on the same.
Claims20
A method of transmitting uplink control information (UCI) to a base station (BS) by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- mapping the UCI to a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH),
- wherein acknowledgement information included in the UCI is mapped to the PUSCH by applying either rate-matching or puncturing to resources for transmitting the acknowledgement information on the PUSCH based on a size of the acknowledgement information;
- and
- transmitting the mapped UCI on the PUSCH.
A user equipment (UE) for transmitting uplink control information (UCI) to a base station (BS) in a wireless communication system, the UE comprising:
- a transmitter;
- and
- a processor operates being connected to the transmitter,
- wherein the processor is configured to:
- map the UCI to a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), wherein acknowledgement information included in the UCI is mapped to the PUSCH by applying either rate-matching or puncturing to resources for transmitting the acknowledgement information on the PUSCH based on a size of the acknowledgement information;
- and
- transmit the mapped UCI on the PUSCH.
