A composition for forming an electrode for a solar cell, the composition comprising:
- a conductive powder;
- a glass frit;
- and
- an organic vehicle, the organic vehicle including a thickener including a structural unit represented by Chemical Formula 1:
- wherein, in Chemical Formula 1,
- R1 is a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C30 alkyl group,
- m is an integer ranging from 1 to 3, and
- n is an integer ranging from 1 to 5.
