Abstract
In response to detecting a request from a first device associated with a first user to utilize a digital wallet associated with a second user, a computer system determines if the first user is authorized to utilize the digital wallet associated with the second user. Further, in response to determining that the first user is authorized to utilize the digital wallet associated with the second user, the computer system allows the first device restricted access to the digital wallet.
Claims20
A computer system, comprising:
- one or more computer-readable memories storing program instructions;
- and
- one or more processors configured to execute the program instructions to cause the system to perform operations comprising:
- in response to detecting a request from a first device associated with a first user to utilize a digital wallet associated with a second user, determining if the first user is authorized to utilize the digital wallet associated with the second user;
- and
- in response to determining that the first user is authorized to utilize the digital wallet associated with the second user, allowing the first device restricted access to the digital wallet.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer-executable instructions, that in response to execution by one or more hardware processors, causes the one or more hardware processors to perform operations comprising:
- in response to detecting a request from a first device associated with a first user to utilize a digital wallet associated with a second user, determining if the first user is authorized to utilize the digital wallet associated with the second user, wherein the determining if the first user is authorized to utilize the digital wallet associated with the second user includes determining if location information associated with the first device corresponds to location information associated the digital wallet;
- and
- in response to determining that the first user is authorized to utilize the digital wallet associated with the second user, allowing the first device restricted access to the digital wallet.
A method, comprising:
- identifying a merchant corresponding to transaction utilizing a financial instrument in a digital wallet associated with a second user;
- in response to determining that the transaction has caused a transaction level to be exceeded, creating a correlation between the digital wallet associated with the second user and one or more locations corresponding to the merchant;
- in response to detecting a request from a first device associated with a first user to utilize the digital wallet associated with the second user, determining if the first user is authorized to utilize the digital wallet associated with the second user;
- and
- in response to determining that the first user is authorized to utilize the digital wallet associated with the second user, allowing the first device restricted access to the digital wallet.
